Use Your Ridley's Advantage Points for the Library

Did you know that you can help the library every time you shop at Ridley's? Go to their website at www.shopridleys.com and sign up for the Home Town Advantage program. There is a list of organizations to choose from, and you can select the Middleton Public Library!

Ridley's will donate a percentage of your purchases to our library. The percentage will depend on the number of members and the total purchases of our members. Just remember to use your Advantage card each time you shop.

Catch the Reading Bug!

The Middleton Library needs your help!  We hope you'll "catch the reading bug" and help plan programs for the children next summer.  "Catch the reading bug" is the 2008 theme for Summer Reading, and we need volunteers to study the summer manual and discover new ideas for our programs.  We're forming a steering committee in January and need lots of enthusiastic volunteers!   Some committee members may just want to be involved in planning, and others may also want to participate in the programs.  If you have time and ideas, we'd love to hear from you.

Want to help start a Teen Council?

We would love to have a Teen Council to advise us on teen programs and make suggestions for books to add to our young adult collection.  We need at least five young teens who use the library and who would be willing to plan programs and review book ideas for the library.  The Council will need an adult advisor who would meet with them and supervise their activities.  If you and your friends (or parent) are interested, let us know at the library.
