Catch the Reading Bug!

The Middleton Library needs your help!  We hope you'll "catch the reading bug" and help plan programs for the children next summer.  "Catch the reading bug" is the 2008 theme for Summer Reading, and we need volunteers to study the summer manual and discover new ideas for our programs.  We're forming a steering committee in January and need lots of enthusiastic volunteers!   Some committee members may just want to be involved in planning, and others may also want to participate in the programs.  If you have time and ideas, we'd love to hear from you.

We're also planning to present at least two reading programs during the "Free Lunch in the Park" times.  If you'd like to help with those, please let us know.   This is a great way for teachers to connect with students during the summer, and it's an easy way to help your local library.
