A preschool story hour introduces children to a wide variety of children's books and stories and is held during the school year on most Thursdays from 10:30 - 11:30 in the library. The storytime is geared toward three to five year olds, but other ages are welcome if they're able to listen and participate. The children hear stories, learn finger plays and songs, and do a craft or other activity. Call the library for definite times.
We'd love to have you and your preschooler join us. And remember, when we have a bigger library, we will have much more space for children - don't you want to be involved in making that building happen? Let Elaine know right away!
During June and July the library sponsors a Summer Reading program for youth ages 4 through 5th grade. If you would like to serve on a planning committe, please let the library staff know. Watch this site for more information!
Once a month during the school year we offer a drop-in art session for children in grades one through five. Drop in anytime between 4:00 and 7:00.
